Baller FC to Show All WSL Matches

Baller Friends Collective (aka Baller FC) is back with a new home!

Fresh off the back of an incredible game-changing month hosting packed-out watch parties for every Women’s Euros game, Baller FC is taking over the lower level of Valderrama’s - London's hottest new sports bar in the heart of Islington - to create the first bespokely-designed, safe and inclusive space for women’s football fans to enjoy more glorious wall-to-wall football, kicking off with the new Barclays Women’s Super League season and Lionesses FIFA 2023 World Cup warm up matches.

Introducing Baller FC at Val’s, the sister space to Valderrama’s - a tailor-made women’s football clubhouse with an interior celebrating women’s football culture, fashion, art and music - featuring a bespoke mural by artist Jade Spranklen (Sprankenstein Studios) encapsulating iconic women’s football moments, dual screens so fans can witness every minute of the footballing action, and Baller basement post-match parties hosted by our Soccermom DJs + special guests so the party can continue long after the final whistle.

Imagine if Carlos Valderrama had a love child with Sue Smith!

The Baller FC and Valderrama’s teams are a perfect match-up, sharing a huge passion for football fandom plus retro and current football culture. Together Baller and Valderrama’s are dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for everyone to enjoy watching the beautiful game together.

Baller FC founder, Rachel Gould, “Baller FC at Valderrama’s is all about building on the success of the Euros and continuing to put Women’s football rightly centre-stage in a dedicated, welcoming space which we have christened ‘Val’s’! We’re so excited to be showing every televised WSL games on a Sunday, Champions League games & all England internationals - we met some incredible fans over the Euros, and we can’t wait to keep doing our bit to grow this amazing community this coming season”

Baller FC at Val’s will kick off Saturday 24th September showing what will be a historic Women’s Super League derby between north-London rivals Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur women at a jam-packed Emirates stadium (Kickoff 13.30). Fans will enjoy a full match-day experience with LIVE football, beers, music and Valderrama’s famous “Around the Cluck” fried chicken and frozen margaritas. And for those with tickets to the game itself, Baller FC will host an after-match party at Val’s with Soccermom DJs (Valderrama’s is just a short walk from the Emirates stadium).

The weekend festival of football continues with a Super Sunday featuring box-office clashes between current WSL Champions Chelsea FC vs title contenders Manchester City (Kick off 16.00), followed by the Merseyside derby with newly promoted Liverpool taking on fierce rivals Everton at Anfield (Kick off 18.45).

From then on, Baller FC will be at Valderrama’s every WSL Sunday until Christmas showing every televised game.

On Friday October 7th, as the WSL breaks for international duty, Baller FC will resume the Lionesses love affair as the heavyweight winter World Cup warm up contest takes place between the newly crowned European champions vs the reigning World Cup champions USA, at a sold-out Wembley stadium. Baller FC will be showing the match LIVE at Val’s and hosting an after-party with guest DJs until midnight.

  • Valderrama’s teams up with Baller Friends Collective to create first bespokely designed, dedicated, safe and inclusive space to watch women’s football, including the new Women’s Super League season, Women’s Champions League and England International matches

  • Baller FC at Val’s - sister-space to Valderrama’s - will host watch parties for every televised Women’s Super League game on Sundays

  • Baller FC was created because they found it hard to find women’s football being shown in pubs either at all, or where it was centre stage and with the sound turned up - for the Women’s Euros Baller FC took matters into their own hands and took over a pub in East London to show every match of the Euros in a dedicated, safe and inclusive space. We welcomed over 1300 women's football fans from across the world across 20 nights.

  • Baller FC are building on the success of the game-changing Euros to grow women’s football fandom
